If you haven’t followed her story, she came by from her spay surgery with a really bad cold. She was very congested, had really bad goopy eyes and worst of all, stopped eating. We did the best we could for a few days to see if she would improve but she did not. The vet tested her for FIV/FELV and they were both negative (yay). She gave her eye medication, a strong antibiotic and an appetite stimulant. Today is the first day in almost a week that she’s eating on her own!! This is a great sign! Thank you to everyone who donated to her care. We are a small sanctuary and we’re just starting out. Your donations allowed us to give Licorice the care that she needed. We can’t thank you enough!!! She will be getting meds twice a day for the rest of the week.
